OJ
Simpson induction in the Pro Football Hall of Fame (1985)

Guess whose back? That’s right  OJ Simpson, the once Pro Football Hall of Fame (1985) player and center of media and press from the 1994 murder of his wife  Nicole Brown Simpson in Brentwood, California.

The former All-American football player was released from Lovelock Correctional Center in Las Vegas, NV on Oct 1.  Simpson served a nine-year sentence for a 2007 armed robbery at Palace Station casino. OJ was trying to ‘retrieve’ valuables from his football career, ceased from the Los Angeles County Superior Court as settlement payments to the families of his wife and her friend Ron Goldman granted by the Los Angeles civil court from winning the 1997 civil action against him. The trial took over a course of six months and was considered the “trail of the century”.

Although ” The Juice” is free, according to the parole conditions, Simpson will reside in Las Vegas along with a 5-year probation sentence. State prisons spokeswoman Brooke Keast stated: “We needed to do this to ensure public safety and to avoid any possible incident.” The spokeswoman gave the newspapers explicit detail of OJ’s prison release. This is, yet, another sad victory for OJ Simpson.
