The South Bronx is getting new office space which will complement the new housing and eateries springing up across Mott Haven and Port Morris. 825 E. 141st street is being transformed into office space and will be named Union Crossing. The groups behind the renovation; MadisonRealty Capital, The Altmark Group, The Bluestone Group and Galil Management plan to attract a diverse group of tenants from the industrial, creative, and non-profit sectors. The building is 8 stories. Floors 2-7 will have office and studio space. The 1st floor and street level will have space for specialty uses such as retail or restaurants. The 6 train Cypress Ave stop is about 3 blocks away. Port Morris is growing nicely, the new Fresh Direct headquarters is almost complete and Silver Cup Studios just recently opened for business. With trendy places to eat and drink such as The Bronx Brewery, Port Morris Distillery and Gun Hill Tavern, a once lifeless neighborhood is quickly becoming a hip destination for young professionals from The Bronx and beyond.

Borough President, Mr. Ruben Diaz Jr. who has visited the location recently, was extremely pleased, and even went live on IG to showcase the new development.
